Volkswagen officially announced the new Golf Alltrack ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show. As you probably know, the Golf Alltrack is basically a more rugged wagon version of the German model.
It comes with an increased ride, by 20mm, plastic protections and new roof rails. The bigger alloy wheels are also new while the 4Motion all-wheel drive system is standard.

A 1.8-liter TSI engine producing 177 horses for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7,8 seconds is offered as a petrol choice while three diesels ranging from 108hp to 181hp are available as well.

The most powerful diesel is the 2.0-liter TDI 181hp unit but a 148hp variant is there as well while the entry-level diesel is a 1.6-liter engine developing 108 ponies.

The new Volkswagen Golf Alltrack will go on sale somewhere next year with a starting price of €29,300.
