The Beijing Motor Show saw a lot of concept cars these days, the newest one from VW being the Golf Edition concept. The new model is designed to celebrate 40 years of the Golf.
While there are no performance upgrades, the German model comes with a series of styling tweaks which manage to set it apart.
To be more specific, the exterior gets a new Magic Morning finish, new 19-inch alloy wheels with an exclusive deign as well as matte chrome mirror caps and new badges.
Enter the cabin and you will find leather sport seats in a two-tone scheme, diamond pattern stitching, piano black trim and illuminated door sills. You will also notice the wood trim which adds some colour to the gloomy yet elegant cabin.
Sadly enough, the Volkswagen Gold Edition concept is nothing but a prototype. The German company offered no details about producing this model anytime soon.
