The German specialists from ABT Sportsline revealed a new tuning program at the Essen Motor Show, a kit developed for the sixth-generation of the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Called “Last Edition” this seems to be the last package prepared by ABT for the German model as the new generation is already out on the market.

ABT’s new kit brings both performance and aesthetic tweaks for the VW Golf GTI. Under the hood, the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine develops now 260 horsepower, up from the standard 211hp.

The extra power is achieved thanks to a remapped ECU unit while, if you want more power, you can opt for the second package which adds a turbocharger and boosts the power output to 310 horses.
