Volkswagen introduces a new version of the Golf Plus in Europe, namely the LIFE model. Under the bonnet we will find a 1.4-liter gasoline unit offering 80 horsepower which fits the entry-level model while more potent petrol units offering up to 122hp are available as well.
On the other hand, the diesel range includes several units with outputs ranging from 105hp to 140hp. Power is transferred to the wheels via a manual transmission while a seven-speed DSG gearbox is also available.
Standard features for the new VW Golf Plus LIFE include a leather steering wheel, heated front seats, central armrest, adjustable seats, ParkPilot and more.
Styling improvements include tinted windows, fog lights, 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome trim.
“The Golf Plus LIFE provides an extremely high level of comfort and safety: in addition to six airbags and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) a range of driver assistance systems is available as options,” says the company.
As mentioned above, the entry-level Golf Plus LIFE starts at €21,200.
