The German tuners at ABT Sportsline decided to take advantage of the upcoming Essen Motor Show and prepare a special package for the new Volkswagen Golf GTI.
The seventh-generation Golf GTI benefits from a Dark Edition model which brings both styling and power tweaks. Under the hood, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 300 horsepower, an upgrade of 70hp which makes the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in just 5,8 seconds.
At the exterior, ABT offers new side skirts, a front spoiler, black chrome exhaust and a special black paint. The German model also rides on 20-inch alloys with 235/30 R20 tires.
There are no details about any interior tweaks for the Volkswagen Golf VII GTI Dark Edition but you should expect minor improvements.
