After coming in some renderings or being put into the spotlights for several times, the Volkswagen German based automaker has decided to publicly display the GTI Wolfsburg Edition at the Worthersee event, in Austria.
As you can see in the pictures, the Volkswagen GTI Wolfsburg Edition was designed by four women and eight men, working for at the project for around nine months.
Heiko Gints, the chief at the Vocational Training within the Volkswagen Group has stated that working on the GTI project, was a real challenge for the apprentices, as they learnt the necessary skills in building a car from the company`s experts.
“This vehicle project offers our apprentices the best opportunity to benefit from the knowledge of their experienced colleagues from the entire company,” Gints also said.
The fresh Vollswagen GTI Wolfsburg Edition comes with a red and black paint at the exterior, as well as a 24-inch LED TV, a PlayStation console, a built-in LED lightning or an iPhone docking station amongst other.
The Volkswagen GTI Wolfsburg Edition comes under the hood with a powerful engine, enough to develop an impressive 380 horsepower.
