Volkswagen released official pricing on the new Polo BlueGT for the British market. The German model starts from 17,400 and comes with a 1.4-liter unit capable to deliver 138 horsepower and 250Nm of torque.
Fuel economy figures are rated at 61,4mpg UK (4,6 liters/100km) with CO2 emissions of 107 g/km. The Polo BlueGT comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DSG.
The 0-100 km/h acceleration is possible in 7,9 seconds while the top speed is 210 km/h.
Standard features of the new Volkswagen Polo BlueGT include new front and rear bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, side sills and a lowered suspension.
“Under light and medium loads, the second and third cylinders are automatically shut down, producing fuel savings of up to 0.4 litres per 100 km,” explains Volkswagen about the cylinder deactivation technology.
