Volkswagen Polo has recently turned 40 and what better way of celebrating the event than launching a special edition called the Polo Original.
We are talking about a five-door Volkswagen Polo Original special edition all wrapped with the gorgeous Honey Orange Metallic paintjob, which will be released in Germany in only 1,000 vehicles.
Some of you might think that the Volkswagen German based carmaker might have worked a little bit harder and release a real special edition, others consider that an original Polo would do just fine for the occasion.
I also have to admit that I am a little bit disappointed, but I have to praise the few small details that differentiate it from the regular Polo. Thus, one might depict the “Original” lettering found on the door sill trims, the slightly revised LED headlights, gloss black radiator grille as well as the 16-inch “Portago” alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin of the Volkswagen Polo Original features the same tweaks found on the stock model, like the gear level knob, leather with “Truffle” stitching on the handbrake, climatronic air conditioning, or the Front Assist with City Emergency Braking, as well as some new features, such as the aluminum pedals, sport seats with the faux leather side bolsters and headrests. Prices for this model are set from 19,950 euros.
