The Chicago Auto Show stage was the host of several premieres, among those being the new Passat Sport as well. The German model is scheduled to go on sale soon in the States and comes with a series of improvements.
Being superior to the SE model, the new Passat Sport offers 19-inch alloy wheels, new Tungsten Silver, Urano Gray and Candy White finishes, a rear spoiler and fog lights.
Power is offered by a 1.8-liter engine producing 170 horsepower and 249 Nm of torque. Inside, buyers will get special sport seats, alloy pedals, heated seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and stainless steel door plates.
The sportiness is also increased by the faux carbon fiber inserts and other minor touches.
In terms of pricing, the new Volkswagen Passat Sport will start from $27,295 (including the destination and handling fee) with more information to be released in the coming days.
