Volkswagen decided to release pricing details for the Sharan facelift, the German MPV which will start from 32,000 EUR in the home market. On the outside, the revised model has now Jakarta alloy wheels, Hudson Bay Blue and Crimson Red finishes, LED headlights and other minor tweaks.
Power is offered by improved engines, namely a 1.4-liter TSI with 150 hp and a 2.0-liter TSI with 220 hp. More frugal diesels offering between 115 hp and 184 hp from 1.6- and 2.0-liter units are also available.
All engines are now Euro 6 compliant and are linked to a six-speed manual transmission with an automatic one being optional. Inside, buyers will get a revised infotainment system with a touchscreen display.
A lot of safety systems such as Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, blind spot monitor assist, Park Assist and adaptive cruise control are available.
As a quick reminder, the 2015 Volkswagen Sharan debuted earlier this year, at the Geneva Motor Show in March. VW is currently taking orders for the new MPV model.
