The Germans at Volkswagen officially announced that the current generation Tiguan will benefit from a new variant in the United Kingdom.
We talk about the Tiguan R-Line, a model based on the SE grade which benefits from 18-inch Mallory alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers, aluminum door sills and a Sterling Silver finish.
Interior upgrades include R-Line logos, leather steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and leather upholstery for the seats.
Power will be provided by a total of three engines starting with a 2.0-liter TDI offering 138hp or 168hp but also a 2.0-liter TSI with 207 horsepower.
If you opt for the 2.0-liter TDI model, prices start at £28,020 while the more powerful petrol variant costs £28,435.
“The Tiguan R-Line is available to order now through Volkswagen Retailers, with the first cars arriving in January 2013,” says the German car maker.
