The Swedish concept was revealed recently at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is mainly built with carbon fiber elements in order to achieve a mass which gives the green light for participating at the contest. Volvo Air Motion is powered by few engines which use compressed air to generate the propulsion force needed to move.

It seems that the Swedes at Volvo thought about something else than a car when they designed the Air Motion concept at the American design lab in Camarillo, California. However, the total mass of just 450 kilograms makes the concept a good competitor for the Mercedes Biome concept recently unveiled and announced as a rival for the Los Angeles Design Challenge.
