Volvo prepares to debut a new special edition of the current generation C70 at this year’s edition of the Los Angeles Auto Show. The American event will open its gates next week and we expect to see a large number of world premieres as we talk about one of the most important automotive events.
As mentioned in the title, the new special edition of the C70 is called Inscription Edition and brings few aesthetic improvements over the stock model. To be more precise, the exterior appearance is enhance by a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels, new LED daytime running lights and three exterior finishes (Black Stone, Black Sapphire and Ice White).
At the interior, the buyers will get a new leather upholstery called Sovereign Hide, aluminum trim, a new steering wheel and several leather inserts for the dashboard. According to the manufacturer, all the engines of the standard Volvo C70 will be available for the new special edition, even if we talk about petrol or diesel units.
At this time, we don’t know the starting price of the new Volvo C70 Inscription Edition but we do know that the Swedish company plans to build only 2,000 vehicles.
