Volvo release details on the sportier R-Design edition for the S60, V60 and also XC60 models. In terms of styling, these three models benefit from new front and rear bumpers, a matte black front grille, new tailpipes, daytime running lights and a rear diffuser.
At the interior, buyers will benefit from leather seats, R-Design logos, sport steering wheel and new stitching. A retuned suspension improves the ride while the R-Design Sport chassis is stiffer and is also 15mm lower.

Anti-roll bars and new shock absorbers also help the Swedish models to offer better performance and provide a sportier feel.

Sadly, there are no performance upgrades under the bonnet which means that the engine range will carry over. The lineup includes two 1.6-liter petrol units producing 150hp and 180hp, more powerful 2.0-liter 240hp and 2.5-liter 249hp engines but also a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder powerplant with 304hp and 440Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the diesel engine range comes with outputs ranging from 115hp to 215hp.
