Known for fine-tuning BMW products, famous aftermarket specialists from Vorsteiner tuning company have turned their attention towards the fitting of this exquisite Audi R8 with their latest wide-body kit. The result is what you see in the media gallery below.
And if you think it takes a plethora of custom body parts to create such aero kit, you will be in for a big disappointment. According to the tuner, this lad here only received a three-piece carbon fiber aero kit.
We are looking here at an extremely aggressive aero kit consisting of a new front spoiler with metallic accent ($2,695), prominent rear diffuser ($3,295) and massive rear wing ($2,895), the latter one increasing the car`s aerodynamics at high-speeds.
The tuner`s VRS Aero Program is also highlighted by the new and imposing alloy wheels, which increase the car`s aggressive look and better stance.
In the engine department, this particular ride remains stock. We are dealing here with a customized 5.2-liter twin-turbo V10 engine, the same one found on the Lamborghini Huracan, capable of delivering a staggering 1,250 horsepower, allowing thus a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The topping is electronically set at 330 km/h.
However, according to new reports, Audi is likely to ditch the powertrain in favor of a smaller displacement, in the shape of a 2.9-liter V6 engine, the same found on the new Porsche Panamera.
