Car maker Wiesmann never was a prominent manufacturer world wide, so much so, that the biggest news that came from them this year was the imminent bankruptcy.
Now, the media shifts its attention to the German car maker yet again, as recent news seems to point towards a reviving of the brand.
“The management board of the Wiesmann corporation has filed the application to dismiss the insolvency proceedings due to abolition of the insolvency reasons. The creditors’ meeting is postponed to December 16, 2013” read the statement. While the solution behind this move was not disclosed, I guess we should rejoice for their good fortune.
Their BMW motivated retro sports car certainly require and acquired taste to enjoy, even if they are far from ugly or ridiculous. This being said, we don’t know when and what model will they be building next, as the whole insolvency issue is still to be closed.
