Volkswagen decides to expand even more the up! range with a new model, this time we talk about an all-electric variant. Under the hood we find an electric motor producing 82 horses and 210Nm of torque.

According to Volkswagen, the continuous output of the engine is 55hp which means that you will benefit from the whole power only in certain situations.

Packing an 18.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, the new Volkswagen e-up! provides a driving range of 150 km while the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 14 seconds.

The top speed is also limited at 135 km/h but this shouldn’t be a problem considering that the model is designed for cities.

In terms of styling, VW provides new 15-inch alloy wheels, revised bumpers and sills, LED daytime running lights and chrome inserts.

“In autumn, the e-up! will celebrate its fair premiere at the International Autoshow in Frankfurt and can be ordered subsequently,” concludes the German carmaker.
